Information you provide

The enquiry form collects your name, email address, enquiry type and message. Company and telephone details are optional. You provide these details directly. Please avoid including identity numbers, payment details or sensitive personal information.

Why it is collected

Your details allow the team to respond to and follow up on your enquiry. The form asks for your consent to this processing; it does not sign you up for marketing. If you choose not to provide the required fields and consent, the form cannot send your enquiry. You can also contact us by email.

Hosting and email delivery

The website is hosted on Vercel. When enabled, the form sends your enquiry through Resend to the 5ROUNDS contact mailbox. The application does not store enquiries in a website database. Copies may remain in the receiving mailbox and service-provider systems.

Hosting and email services process technical information needed for delivery and security, which may include IP addresses and request logs. Providers may process information outside South Africa. Contact us for details of the providers and safeguards applicable to your information.

Retention

Contact us for the retention period applicable to your enquiry and to request deletion of information that no longer needs to be retained.

Cookies and tracking

The website application does not set advertising or analytics cookies and does not include analytics scripts. No marketing cookie consent is requested. Hosting services may process technical information for delivery and security.

Embedded story video

The story film uses YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player. The page displays a locally hosted brand poster first and contacts YouTube only when you choose to play the film. Playing it connects your browser to Google/YouTube, which processes technical information and playback activity under its own policies. Privacy-enhanced mode does not mean that no personal information is processed.

You can leave the film unplayed, close it to remove the embedded player, or open it on YouTube instead. See Google’s privacy policy.

Your choices and rights

You may request access to your personal information, ask for correction or deletion where applicable, object to processing, or withdraw consent for future processing. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal. Some records may need to be retained where there is a lawful reason.
